The units known as SO are air handling units for specific use in operating theatres, and are available and adaptable for any size of area served. The main features of these systems are: 

• Prevent entry of pathogens and contaminants
• Maximum cleanliness of ambient air
• Easily sanitised and sterilised
• Ease of maintenance.

Variation of temperature, humidity and type of pressurisation can be done quickly via a simple display, and these are also low-noise machines, so that they can be installed in the vicinity of the room being served without any special precautions; however, it should be noted that silencers suitable for hospital use must be installed in the system.
